Kumasi; For Business, for Culture or for Tourism

Kumasi is the Garden City of Ghana as well as being the Ghana’s second most prominent city. Not a city of gardens, but a well-groomed city where anything at all can sell on a large scale provided one has the heart to commit to it. It is here that some of the oldest buildings in Ghana are. A good chunk of the revenue from tourism comes from Kumasi and the rest of the Ashanti Region. Ghanaians of repute who hail from this city are countless.

The brand, Kumasi is carved in a homogenous matching fashion to that of Koforidua which has the accolade as a city of flowers. For both instances, Kumasi and Koforidua, business and cultural symbolism are far more paramount than the trees, flowers and gardens that are attributed to them. Sufficing to say that, taking these attributes to flora as a concept, both Kumasi and Koforidua excel in leaps and bounds when it comes to businesses of various kinds and age-old traditions.
Even, Kumasi is globally acknowledged for its cultural bank. Kumasi has a rich traditional heritage. It is a destination favourite for the bulk for tourist travellers to the Ghana and the Sub-Saharan Region. The recent burial and final funeral rites of the late Queen mother of the Ashanti Kingdom, is vivid testimony that Kumasi does not place with her culture. If you travelled there during that period, you were in Rome. In Rome, when everyone is sleeping, you will also sleep whether you feel for it or not. That is how infectiously the attitude of Kumasi is to anyone who cares to visit this city.

Major public facilities and points of interest are situated in the Kumasi. Landmark destinations and buildings are enveloped in Kumasi. Here are 4 of the most important places and points of interests in Kumasi. Your journey to the Garden city of Ghana is incomplete without visiting these places or at least seeing them.
