JUNE 3RD & THE NADMO MENACE

Maybe our resolve to avoid a recurrence is only a shadow's pit, maybe we just burst into our usual nine-day big talk as toothless bulldogs ready to bite or even maybe our Olympic record-breaking response to aggrieved families and the helpless disaster victims was only a surety of our long-treasured hospitality-moral.
Yet, it is surprising, to say the least, that a disaster that brought the whole nation to a sorry standstill, reeling an apology we have as an infrastructural system could have such a scandal in its wake. Ooh NADMO!
If the enchantments and in advance cursing of enticed traditional pilferers at our state's disaster management body and metropolitan authority was not deterrent enough, soaring number of dead, dying and helpless people should have been a scar big enough in the heart(or head if I should say) of even the devil.

But as the Apostle Paul said of our time in 1 Tim 4:2b, 

some will have their conscience seared with hot iron

Permit me to say that the same is true of the arrested Greater Accra NADMO boss if guilty.
As if that isn't annoying enough, the government promised GH¢10,000 to victims is still in limbo to many of these already shock-stricken people, draining the little strength and resources at the expense of the devilish bureaucratic 'go-and-come-tomorrow, whom-you-know' processes in this country.
While God is the ultimate judge of all things, our prayer is that those indulgent in such maliciously satanic acts will put a stop to it while they are still uncaught, so that, those in dire need of items from people's sweat are adequately catered for.
